Falcons Pull Out a 5-4 Win

Misenheimer, NC---The Pfeiffer women's tennis team came back from an early defecit to defeat Methodist 5-4 in non-conference action Monday afternoon. Trailing 2-0 the Falcons got a tremendous comeback from #1 doubles and went on to win 4 of 6 singles to take the match. With the victory Pfeiffer improves to 7-3 on the season.

After losing at #2 and #3 doubles the Falcons were down 2-0. Mia Bobrowski and Heather Smith found themselves down 6-1 at #1 doubles but mounted a uge comeback and pulled out a 9-8 win to keep the Falcons in the match.

In singles Pfeiffer got three set victories from Patty Dominguez, Juliana Reyes and Heather Smith to pull out the match 5-4.

Pfeiffer will travel to St. Andrews on Wednesday for a 3:00 pm match.
