#7 Pfeiffer Blanks Lees McRae

Misenheimer, NC: Pfeiffer University’s Women’s Lacrosse team made history on Thursday afternoon recording the first shutout in the schools 9 year program. The Lady Falcons out shot the Lady Bobcats 39-2 and controlled the draw controls 20-3. Pfeiffer improved to 9-2 on the year and 6-1 in the CVAC while Lees McRae falls to 1-10 and 0-5.

Eleven different Lady Falcons found the back of the net, while fourteen different players recorded at least a point. The Lady Falcons assisted on 19 of the 21 goals.

Pfeiffer was led by Alycia Schwarz (Sr. Colorado Springs, CO) 3 goals/ 3 assists and 3 draw controls, Jenn Gappert (Sr. Annapolis, MD) 3 goals/ 2 assists, Krissy Bentolila (So. Potomac, MD) 5 assists, Brenna Clark (Sr. Wellington, FL) 2 goals/ 2 assists/ 5 groundballs, Jenny Deans (Sr. Annapolis, MD) 2 goals/ 2 assists and Ashley Hill (Fr. Ellicott City, MD) 2 goals/ 2 assists / 2 draw controls.

Pfeiffer will travel to Maryland this weekend to face Regis (CO) on Saturday March 30th at 2:00pm and Southern New Hampshire on Sunday April 1 at 10:00 am.
