| Falcons Win QF Game 86-80 |

| Misenheimer, NC---The Pfeiffer men’s basketball team advanced to the conference tournament semi-finals with a 86-80 win over Limestone Monday evening. The Falcons will host a semi-final game against Queens Thursday night at 7:00 pm. The Falcons improve to 21-7 on the season while Limestone falls to 10-17. The two teams played a close exciting first half. After five minutes the score was tied at 7. Limestone’s Andre Coleman had 11 points in the first eight minutes as the Saints held an 18-16 advantage. A Quintel Maxwell “3” gave the Falcons a 21-19 lead with 9:40 to go. Tyron Evans hit a three-pointer to give Limestone a 32-28 lead with 2:40 to go. With 17.2 seconds left in the half Thomas Carr had a four-point play to give Pfeiffer a 38-35 lead that they took into the halftime break. Josh Roper hit a three-pointer to give Pfeiffer a 44-43 lead. Kenny White hit a “3” to give Limestone a 51-48 lead at the 14 minute mark. The Saints stretched their lead to 60-53 at the 9:15 mark. The Falcons answered with a 10-0 run over the next fifty seconds. Logan Call had a steal and dunk to build the Falcon advantage to 74-65 with 5:04 to play. The Saints answered with a 5-0 run to keep it close. Pfeiffer hit eight free throws in the final minute to hang on for a 86-80 win. Pfeiffer had six players in double figures led by Qunitel Maxwell and Jeff Pettiway who each had 13 points. Andre Coleman led the Saints with 16 points.
