#7 Pfeiffer Defeats Presbyterian

March 22, 2007


Misenheimer, NC – Pfeiffer’s Alycia Schwarz led her team with 4 goals and 2 assists while teammate Ashlee Hill added 5 goals in a 21-8 victory over the Lady Blue Hose. The Lady Falcons controlled 17 of 31 draw controls and nabbed 3 more groundballs on the day. Pfeiffer moved to 7-2 while Presbyterian is now 4-7.

With the scored knotted at 4-4 with 21:06 left in the half, Pfeiffer came out of a time-out and scored 10 unanswered goals before Presbyterian scored the last goal of the half to make it 14-5. During the run Hill scored three of her goals, Schwarz recorded two goals and an assists and Elie Fenton scored twice.

Nine different Lady Falcons recorded a point in the win. On defense Jenny Deans led Pfeiffer with 3 groundballs, 4 caused turnovers, 0 turnovers and 5 draw controls while three different Goalies saw action, recording a total of 8 saves.

Pfeiffer will be in action again on Tuesday March 27th when they face CVAC foe Queens University at 4:00pm.
