| Pfeiffer Loses to Lenoir-Rhyne 3-1 |

Lenoir-Rhyne got on the board first when Rebecca Lin scored off a corner kick only seven minutes into the game. The Bears doubled their lead to 2-0 in the 20th minute when Lauren Rosch took a through ball and beat the Falcon keeper. Pfeiffer came right back and scored five minutes later. Megan Blevins took a pass from Michelle Vaudreuil and slipped the ball past the Bear keeper to cut the Falcon defecit to 2-1. In the 32nd minute the Bears scored on a Michelle Garcia penalty kick after a controversial foul called in the box. The Bears took a 3-1 lead into halftime. The Falcons controlled time of pssession in the second half and had several good scoring opportunities but could not find the back of the net and lost 3-1. Pfeiffer will host St. Andrews Presbyterian in a conference game Thursday at 2:00 pm. |
