| Pfeiffer Loses Two in Florida |

| Kissimmee, FL---The Pfeiffer softball team lost two games in Florida on Monday. In their first game the Falcons fell to Ferris State 4-3. In the afternoon Pfeiffer lost to Ashland 5-2. The Falcons are now 14-10 on the season. In game one Amanda Beck drove in Shelby Fleming in the second to give Pfeiffer a 1-0 lead. Jaimee Cassidy hit a two-run home run in the third to build the Falcon lead to 3-0. Ferris State scored an unearned run off Falcon starter Dacia Ijames in the fourth. A walk, triple and single tied the score for Ferris State in the sixth. Ferris State got an unearned run in the top of the eighth for a 4-3 win. Ijames pitched eight innings, giving up only two earned runs in the loss.
In game two the Falcons took on Ashland. Ashland took a 2-0 lead in the second. The Falcons responded in the fourth. Ijames hit a solo home run to make the score 2-1. Sarah Moore then drove in Shelby Fleming to tie the game at 2. Ashland reponded with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. They added a single run in the sixth for the 5-2 win. Allison Braswell took the loss for Pfeiffer giving up five runs in six inings.
