Pfeiffer Wins 8th in a Row

Misenheimer, NC---Thomas Carr hit 6 three-pointers to lead Pfeiffer to a 97-73 victory over Limestone in Conference Carolinas men's basketball action Thursday evening. This was the Falcons eighth win in a row as they improve to 14-4 on the year and 10-2 in the conference. Limestone falls to 4-13 and 2-10. Logan Call added 16 points and 9 rebounds for Pfeiffer.

Thomas Carr hit two early "3"'s to give Pfeiffer a 10-5 lead after three minutes.

The two teams battled back and forth until another Carr three-pointer started a 7-0 Falcon run to give Pfeiffer a 28-21 advantage.

Josh Roper hit a "3" to give the Falcons a double-digit lead at 36-26 with 3:25 to go until halftime.

At the break Pfeiffer led 44-35.

A 10-0 Falcon run increased their lead to 57-41 with 16 minutes to go.

Quintel Maxwell hit a three-pointer to increase the Pfeiffer lead to over 20 at 67-46 with 13:25 to go.

The Falcons built their lead up to 29 at one point and never let the lead drop below 20 as they won the game 97-73.

Fourteen different Falcons scored led by Thomas Carr's 18 points. Logan Call added 16 points and 9 rebounds. Andre Coleman had 18 points to lead Limestone.

Pfeiffer travels to conference rival Queens for a 7:30 pm game on Saturday.
