Softball Splits DH with Belmont Abbey

tn_dsc_5492Misenheimer- The Pfeiffer softball team split a CVAC double header with Belmont Abbey Wednesday. Game one saw the falcons only manage one run on three hits, as Belmont Abbey beat the Falcon's 7-1. The night cap fared better for Pfeiffer as the team strung together 13 hits in an 8-3 decision.

Sophomore right fielder Martina Bullard let the Falcon's hit barrage going 4-4 with two triples and two RBI. Junior third baseman Jaimee Cassidy also drove in two runs while finishing the game a perfect 3-3. Chlesea Morton chipped in two RBI and picked up the win in the circle. Dacia Ijames and Sarah Moore each accounted for one RBI. Pfeiffer finished the game scoring 8 runs on 13 hits.

The softball team travels to North Greenville on Thursday. Game time is set for 2:00
