
Conference Carolinas Names Presidential Honor Roll Recipients
Misenheimer, N.C.- Conference Carolinas has announced the student athletes who were named to the Presidential Honor Roll. A total of 1713 student athletes from the conference were named to this list. In order to be named to the Presidential Honor Roll, a student athlete must earn a GPA of 3.2 for the semester. Of those student athletes honored, 146 were from Pfeiffer University. Read more
Reasso's Former Player Participating in U.S. Open Cup
Misenheimer, N.C.- Pfeiffer University’s Athletic Director and Head Men’s Soccer Coach, Bob Reasso, was able to witness one of his former players, Dilly Duka, play professionally in the U.S. Open Cup yesterday. Duka played under Reasso for three seasons at Rutgers before entering the MLS Draft, where he was the 8th pick in the first round. He is now a midfielder for the Chicago Fire in the MLS. Duka is a U.S. Youth International with three years of MLS experience, having previously played for Columbus. He is also in the U-23 National Team pool and was called into camps in November and January in preparation for CONCACAF Olympic qualifiers. Read more

Misenheimer, N.C.- Head basketball coach Jeremy Currier announced that Connor Dahn has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Pfeiffer University. Read more

Pfeiffer Falcons Have Three Selected as All-Americans
Misenheimer, N.C.- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association has released its list of Division II All-Americans for the 2013 season. Pfeiffer University’s Jeff Konko was named to the second team defense, and both Steven Tilmon and Hayden Kirk were named to the honorable mention for midfield and goalie, respectively. This is the second year in a row that Pfeiffer has had a defensemen named to the All-American team. The Pfeiffer Falcons finished the season with a record of 13-4 (5-1 CC).

Falcons Head Tennis Joe Baile Resigns from Pfeiffer University
Misenheimer, N.C.- Pfeiffer University’s head men and women’s tennis coach, Joe Baile, has announced his resignation from the University. “I would like to thank former Athletic Director Mary Ann Sunbury and all of the wonderful people at Pfeiffer University for the opportunity to work for this institution,” states Baile. “I have greatly enjoyed my time at Pfeiffer and will miss my players dearly. I have been presented another opportunity in the tennis industry that is beneficial to me and my family and will be stepping down as Head Men's and Women's tennis coach effective May 23rd. I wish Bob Reasso and the entire Pfeiffer athletic department the best of luck in the upcoming year.
