MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- Pfeiffer Head Coach Jeremy Currier earned a milestone victory in Pfeiffer's (4-0) 129-73 dismantling of Carolina Christian (6-7) on Sunday afternoon. The win was number 100 in the young coaching career of Currier with 93 of those wins coming as the leader of the Falcons program.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – In an offensive explosion, the Pfeiffer men’s basketball team (3-0) remained unbeaten with a 123-107 victory over Averett (5-2) on Saturday evening inside Merner Gymnasium. Josh Calhoun scored a team-high 31 points in the victory and Brendan Jones dropped a career-high 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Pfeiffer Vice President for Athletics Bob Reasso announced today that the Falcons have become the 108th Division III program to join the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). Pfeiffer becomes the first DIII program from North Carolina to join the prestigious Conference and the move will allow Pfeiffer an opportunity to play in the postseason immediately while they continue to transition to full members of DIII.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Chris Kimura, who served on the Pfeiffer volleyball staff for four seasons, has announced his resignation. Kimura was an assistant with the Falcons for three seasons before being named the interim head coach earlier this fall.
RALEIGH, N.C. – In their first game against a USA South Athletic Conference opponent as a Division III program, the Pfeiffer women’s basketball team (2-0) easily dispatched William Peace by a final score of 92-55 on Monday evening. The Falcons broke team records for most steals (26) and most shot attempts (95) in the one-sided victory.
CONCORD, N.C. – In game two of the StatGeek Tip Off Classic, Pfeiffer (2-0) dismantled Barber Scotia (3-5) by a final score of 105-54 on Sunday afternoon. Once again, 14 players scored in the victory led by 15 apiece from Josh Calhoun and Eric Ambrosio.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – For the second straight season, the Pfeiffer women’s basketball team won its season opener, easily dispatching of Hollins (0-2) by a final score of 72-33 on Friday evening inside Merner Gymnasium. Grayson Harris tallied a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and added four blocked shots.
On Friday, the Pfeiffer Falcons swim team competed in day one of Queen’s Fall Frenzy as they swam against teams from both Division I and II. In each event in this three day competition, heats would determine the final place order.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer men's basketball team (1-0) dominated Barber Scotia (3-3) in the season opener on Wednesday evening, beating the Sabers by a final score of 137-100 inside Merner Gymnasium. The Falcons scored 85 points in the first half, breaking the program record for most points in a half which was set in 2010 when Pfeiffer dropped 77 in a half against Barton. Pfeiffer also shattered the record for most steals in a game, recording 33 thefts. The previous record of 23 had stood since 1992.

Today, the Falcons and Wendy’s announced a promotion for the 2017-18 men’s basketball season that when they score 100 or more points at home, selected fans in attendance will get a voucher for a free frosty.

On Saturday afternoon, the Pfeiffer Falcons swim team picked up their first victory of the season as they competed in a double dual against the host school Sweet Briar College and UNC Pembroke. The Falcons were able to pick up a win against the Vixens,131-95, but fell to the Braves, 117-112. Mireia van Riet was the top performer on the day as she picked up three wins.

MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- After a two-year hiatus, the Pfeiffer women's swimming program relaunched with a meet against Chowan inside Merner Pool on Saturday afternoon. Despite a 113-68 loss, a lot of positives were taken out of the return.
TALLULAH FALLS -- The Pfeiffer men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2017 campaign by competing in the USA South Conference Championship on Saturday morning. The Falcons didn't receive a team score as they are not yet able to compete for league championships but were able to run as individuals.
On Wednesday night, Pfeiffer (3-19) seniors Katie Anne Wilson Erin Errington led the women's volleyball team past the Salem Spirits (20-10), 3-1. Wilson had a team-high 22 assists which places her fourth all-time in Falcon history. Errington led the team offensively with a career-high 16 kills and a career-best .312 hitting percentage.
BREVARD, N.C. -- Pfeiffer's (8-7-1) four-game winning streak was halted on Wednesday night when the Falcons were on the wrong end of a 2-1 decision at Brevard at Ives-Lemel Field. Prior to tonight, the Falcons hadn't lost since dropping a 2-1 decision to N.C. Wesleyan on Oct. 14.
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Competing in the final tournament of the fall season, the Pfeiffer men's golf team currently sits in 15th place at The O'Briant-Jensen Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by Guilford College. The tournament is being held at Sedgefield Country Club and is currently led by Methodist College's team score of 290.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- It was a senior day to remember as the Pfeiffer men’s soccer team earned a 4-0 victory over Huntingdon. In Pfeiffer’s final home game of the 2017 season, the Falcons capped off a great weekend with their second shutout in as many days. It was Pfeiffer’s eighth win of the year, improving their record to 8-6-1.
Though Pfeiffer (2-19) dropped both of their matches on Saturday afternoon to William Peace (15-16) and to the host school, Ferrum (5-20), the Falcons made it interesting in the second match of the day against the Panthers as they took the third set of the match 25-23. Erin Errington had three of her nine kills in set three and Katie Anne Wilson had seven of her team-high 19 assists. Emma Gray Beacham added 27 digs which ties her four fourth all-time in single match.

Wesleyan (4-10-1) on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons wrapped up the inaugural Division III season with a .500 record and will set their sights on a strong 2018 campaign.
DANVILLE, VA. -- The Pfeiffer men's soccer team (6-6-1) scored twice in the first 9:20 en route to a 2-1 victory at Averett (4-9-2) on Wednesday evening. Jamie Henriquez scored first and Chris Brown netted the game-winner as Pfeiffer improves to 5-2-1 over their past eight matches.
