2011-2012 Conference Tournament Seedings, Format and Tiebreakers

FOR: Baseball, Tennis, Softball, Soccer
Each division (East & West) will crown a divisional champions for the regular season. Each division winner will receive the top two (2) tournament seeds (No. 1 will go to the team with the higher OVERALL conference win percentage). After determining the top two (2) seeds, all other seeds will fall into place based on overall (not divisional) conference winning percentage.

Tiebreakers:
1. Head to Head
2. Record within division
3. comparison against teams in the east division by rank
4. comparison against teams outside the east division by rank.


FOR: Men's Basketball
Each division will crown a regular season champion and receive a #1 seed in their side of the bracket. Tournament seeding will be based on the top four (4) teams from each division.

1st Round:
Gm1: West #4 at East #1
Gm2: East #3 at West #2
Gm3: East #4 at West #1
Gm4: West #3 at East #2

Semifinals:
Gm5: Gm1 winner vs. Gm2 winner
Gm6: Gm3 winner vs. Gm4 winner

Finals:
Gm7: Gm5 winner vs. Gm6 winner

NOTE: If two teams are to meet in the semifinals or finals that had the same seed from different sides of the bracket, the home team will be the one who had the better OVERALL conference winning percentage. Second would be head to head record from regular season.


FOR: Women's Volleyball & Women's Basketball
Each division will crown a regular season champion and receive a #1 seed in their side of the bracket. Tournament seeding will be based on the TOP FIVE (5) WEST teams and TOP THREE (3) EAST teams. The overall #1(a) seed with the higher OVERALL conference winning percentage will play the West #5 seed; while the other #1(b) seed will play the West #4. Both #2 and #3 seeds in each division will play cross-divisional first round match-ups.

1st Round:
Gm1: West #5 at East #1(a)
Gm2: East #3 at West #2
Gm3: West #4 at West #1(b)
Gm4: West #3 at East #2

Gm2: West #3 at East #2
Gm3: West #4 at East #1(b)
Gm4: East #3 at West #2

Semifinals:
Gm5: Gm1 winner vs. Gm2 winner
