
Lee Ennis
Volunteer AssistantCoach Lee Ennis spent the 2011 season as Head Coach of Men’s Soccer at Stanly Community College after launching both men’s and women’s programs, beginning their first seasons of play in Region X of the NJCAA in the fall of 2011. In SCC’s inaugural season, Ennis lead the men’s team to an overall 9-7-2 regular season mark including a win over nationally ranked Spartanburg Methodist College on the Eagles home field.
Prior to his arrival to SCC, Ennis spent 2007-2010 as Head Coach of the West Stanly High School Men’s team and also lead the women’s team for two seasons as well. At West Stanly, Ennis inherited a men’s program that accumulated 3 wins the prior season to his arrival and a team that had visited the state-playoffs once in school history. During his four seasons over the program, the West Stanly team qualified for the state-playoffs in four consecutive seasons, earning a first seed from their conference in 2008 earning Ennis Rocky River “Coach of the Year” honors.
In addition to time spent on the high school and NJCAA level, Ennis also spent time heading coaching duties at the club level for various classic boys divisions ranging from U-12 to U-17 for SCYSA and has served on the staff for the “NC State Games.
Ennis is originally from Charlotte but with his family, including 2 sons, have lived in Stanly County since 1991. Ennis holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Service Administration with a Political Science Minor from Eastern Oregon University and is currently completing an MA in Liberal Studies from UNC-Greensboro. Ennis is licensed nationally through the USSF and also holds an NSCAA Goalkeeping Diploma.
