Jeff Hicks

Jeffery Hicks is in his first season with the Pfeiffer Falcons in a dual role as Director of Operations and Assistant Coach for both men’s and women’s volleyball programs.  Hicks previously served as the Head Coach for the Mercer University Club Volleyball Programs, as well as Varsity Team Manager for the Bears Division I Program for several years.
 
Hicks rebuilt and revived the men’s and women’s club programs at Mercer University, served as the Head Coach for the women’s club team, and saw the men’s team improve to being a top team in the southeast region.  Hicks also saw time as a pin hitter for the Bears Men’s club team during his tenure.
 
Hicks gained experience at Mercer University as an event manager in the marketing department with travel and sports accounting.  For the Women’s Inaugural NCAA Sand Volleyball Season, he served as the Bears Director of Operations.
 
“I’ve known Jeffery for a long time, has a tireless work ethic and is most importantly a great person.  I’m excited to see him interact and manage our program utilizing his marketing and business background,” said Coach Walker “He knows the game and how a Division I program is run and is going to help us drastically in rebuildingthis program from the ground up.”
 
Hicks will contribute to daily functioning such as scouting and statistical breakdown, fiscal management, sports marketing, recruiting, and oversees camps and home invitationals.
