Ellwood will begin his freshman campaign as a member of the Pfeiffer men’s basketball program. Matt comes to Pfeiffer from Lees Summit North High School in Missouri, where he was an All-Conference player for coach Mike Hilbert. He recorded a 27 point, 11 rebound performance versus Truman High School, and was named to the All-Big Six Suburban Conference First Team and recognized as the NIAA Character award.
He is the son of Thad and Tammy Ellwood.
