Chacon is set to start his freshman season as a member of the Pfeiffer men’s basketball program, coming from Christopher Columbus High School in Florida where he played for Henry Lorenzo. Against Pace Academy, Julian recorded 25 points and 6 rebounds, leading his team to a win. He was selected to the All-Tournament Teams in the Kruel Classic and the A-ROD Classic in his senior year, and made the principles list at Christopher Columbus. Chacon was selected to start in the South Florida State All Star Game.
He is the son of Ronette Arbelo and Julio Chacon.
