Eric Anderson

Coach Anderson enters his fifth year as head coach of both the men’s and women’s swim teams. Anderson comes to Pfeiffer from A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, NC.  It was there he built a program of just three swimmers into a competitive team of 29 swimmers in seven years.  In those seven years, he has sent 41 swimmers to qualify regionally and 11 to qualify statewide.  His hard work and dedication to swimming has recognized him in the Kannapolis area as one of the best and most competitive programs around. 

In addition to his tenure at A.L. Brown, Anderson has experience at the Highland Creek Hurricanes Swim Club as the Head Coach, as well as Mallard Creek High School Head Swim Coach. Anderson is a current member of the North Carolinas Coaches Association.  

A graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington, Anderson received a BA in Elementary Education before coming to North Carolina to teach in the Kannapolis City Schools. He, his wife Erin, and their son Aidan reside in Charlotte, NC.
