Currier on Isley – “Losing Cade to injury last season really hurt our team. Cade is a pure shooter with range that can change what we are able to do on the offensive end. Cade made a real commitment to the weight room and has size and strength that will help his game. His ability to positively impact our performance on the court, in the classroom, in throughout the Pfeiffer community is a testament to what he stands for as a leader in this program.”
As a freshman shooting guard, Cade saw action in the first nine games of the season before suffering a season ending injury.
Cade, originally from Greensboro, played at Wesleyan Christian Academy for two years under head coach Keith Gatlin. During Isleys junior year, Wesleyan Christian won the High Point Holiday Classic and during Isley’s senior year they finished the season at 16-9 in the competitive NCISAA. Isley was one of the top shooters in the region while averaged 10ppg for Wesleyan Christian. His most memorable game as a senior was when he scored a career high 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Prior to Wesleyan Christian, Isley played varsity for one year at Grimsley under head coach Darren Corbett. His father’s name is Brian and his mother’s name is Pam.
