Pfeiffer Falcons Have Three Selected as All-Americans
Misenheimer, N.C.- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association has released its list of Division II All-Americans for the 2013 season. Pfeiffer University’s Jeff Konko was named to the second team defense, and both Steven Tilmon and Hayden Kirk were named to the honorable mention for midfield and goalie, respectively. This is the second year in a row that Pfeiffer has had a defensemen named to the All-American team. University’s Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Lars Keil, has resigned from his
position at the university. Keil states, “I
want to thank Bob Reasso and the administrative staff for the opportunity to
work with such a distinguished program, but effective May 31st I will be
stepping down as Head Men's Lacrosse Coach in order to pursue other
professional opportunities." Keil will leave the Falcons with a record of
13-4 (5-1 CC).
