Reasso's Former Player Participating in U.S. Open Cup

Misenheimer, N.C.- Pfeiffer University’s Athletic Director and Head Men’s Soccer Coach, Bob Reasso, was able to witness one of his former players, Dilly Duka, play professionally in the U.S. Open Cup yesterday. Duka played under Reasso for three seasons at Rutgers before entering the MLS Draft, where he was the 8th pick in the first round. He is now a midfielder for the Chicago Fire in the MLS. Duka is a U.S. Youth International with three years of MLS experience, having previously played for Columbus. He is also in the U-23 National Team pool and was called into camps in November and January in preparation for CONCACAF Olympic qualifiers. Read more

BELMONT, N.C. - A pair of first half goals would be just enough as Pfeiffer University avoided a winless season scoring a 2-1 victory over Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon. The victory helps the Falcons end 2012 at 1-15-2 overall, 1-8-1 in league play while the Crusaders fall to 6-9, 4-6. Read more
