Men's Tennis Falls Victim to #1 Seed Lees-McRae 5-0 in Tournament Opener

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Top-seeded Lees-McRae College cruised past Pfeiffer University 5-0 in the first round of the 2010 Conference Carolinas men's tennis tournament on Friday afternoon at the Palmetto Tennis Center. The Bobcats needed a 9-8 and 8-6 win at #1 and #2 doubles en route to the doubles sweep. The Falcons end their 2010 campaign 8-10 overall. Read more

Tennis Teams Place Two Each on End of Year All-Conference Teams

HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Conference Carolinas All-Conference Tennis Teams were determined by vote from each Head Coach of participating league institutions.  Nominations were collected and then voted upon by ballot and tallied to determine Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, All-Conference First Team, All-Conference Second Team and All-Conference Third Team.  Awards were presented at the league tennis team banquet at the Conference Tournament Championships co-hosted by Erskine College and the Palmetto Park Tennis Complex in Sumter, SC.  This year’s award winners are as follows: Read more
