Falcons Head Tennis Joe Baile Resigns from Pfeiffer University

Misenheimer, N.C.- Pfeiffer University’s head men and women’s tennis coach, Joe Baile, has announced his resignation from the University. I would like to thank former Athletic Director Mary Ann Sunbury and all of the wonderful people at Pfeiffer University for the opportunity to work for this institution,” states Baile. “I have greatly enjoyed my time at Pfeiffer and will miss my players dearly.  I have been presented another opportunity in the tennis industry that is beneficial to me and my family and will be stepping down as Head Men's and Women's tennis coach effective May 23rd. I wish Bob Reasso and the entire Pfeiffer athletic department the best of luck in the upcoming year.  Thank you to all the coaches and staff for your support during my three years as a coach.”

Women's Tennis Season Finishes with 5-1 Loss to Mount Olive in Tournament Quarters

SUMTER, S.C. - The 2012-2013 Pfeiffer University women's tennis season ended abruptly in the Conference Carolinas tournament quarterfinal round as fifth-seeded Mount Olive advanced past the fourth-seeded Lady Falcons with a 5-1 victory at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
