TIGERVILLE, SC - Competing in its final Conference Carolinas Tournament, the Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (7-9) dropped a 15-9 decision at North Greenville (9-8) on Tuesday afternoon. The Falcons entered as the No. 5 seed but saw its 2017 campaign come to a close at the hands of the No. 4 seeded Crusaders.

Five goals by Pfeiffer midfielder Kyle Barna proved not be enough to overcome the Mount Olive Trojans (11-3, 6-3 CC ) on Wednesday afternoon as the Falcons (7-8, 3-4 CC ) fell by the score of 17-9 at the McDonald Complex.

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Pfeiffer men?s lacrosse team (7-6) held on for 11-10 victory at N.E. Lefko Field on Tuesday night over future conference opponent Methodist (11-3). Mike Moorehead made 18 saves in goal, many in clutch situations, to lead the Falcons to victory.
Freshman Jared Nelson was named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week as announced by the league this afternoon. Nelson had a performance for the ages in Pfeiffer’s 20-7 thrashing of Emmanuel on Saturday.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. - On senior day in the village, it was a pair of freshman that had record-breaking performances as the Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (6-6, 3-2 CC) improved to .500 with a 20-7 thrashing of Emmanuel (1-10, 0-5 CC) on Saturday night. Jared Nelson tied the record for most assists in a game with nine helpers and fellow freshman Cody Lamond broke the single season record for ground balls which stood since 2001.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (5-6, 2-2 CC) saw its four game winning streak come to an end with a 24-8 loss to No. 1 Limestone (10-0, 3-0) on Saturday afternoon. Kyle Barna scored four of Pfeiffer’s eight goals on the day but Limestone came away with their 12th straight victory over the Falcons.
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Kyle Barna scored two of his four goals in the fourth quarter as the Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (5-5) survived an upset bid from Greensboro (2-9) to hang on for an 8-6 victory on Saturday afternoon. The win is Pfeiffer’s fourth straight victory and pulls the Falcons to .500 overall.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Kyle Barna scored seven times and Blade Garlow added five goals as the Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (4-5, 2-1 CC) won its third straight game, defeating Lees-McRae (3-5, 1-2) by the final score of 16-11 on Wednesday evening. The win pushes Pfeiffer over .500 in league play.
MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (3-5, 1-1 CC) exploded for 23 goals in a 23-11 victory at Chowan (0-6, 0-1) on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Cody Lamond destroyed the all-time record for most ground balls in a game, finishing with 27 on the day. Previously, the record of 17 set by Dan Ciaravino stood since 1993 but Lamond put the new mark pretty far out of reach. Lamond’s outstanding day included him going 30-for-33 in faceoffs and adding three goals.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Pfeiffer men?s lacrosse team (2-5) got its first home win of the season with an 11-8 non-conference victory over Walsh (0-3) on Wednesday evening. Blade Garlow and Kyle Barna each finished with hat tricks for Pfeiffer and Jared Nelson scored twice. Ryan Cummings registered a goal and three assists, while Mike Moorehead made 12 saves.
MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (1-5) suffered a 9-6 defeat at N.E. Lefko Field on Monday afternoon to Drew (1-2) in non-conference action. The Rangers outscored the Falcons 4-0 in the fourth quarter to steal the road victory.
BELMONT, N.C. - Ryan Cummings netted a hat trick but the Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (1-4, 0-1 CC) dropped its Conference Carolinas opener at Belmont Abbey (4-1, 1-0) by a final score of 18-8 on Saturday afternoon.
BREVARD, N.C. - The Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (1-3) used a five-goal fourth quarter to erase a 7-4 deficit and defeat Brevard (2-3) by a final score of 9-7 on Saturday afternoon. Kyle Barna scored four times in the win and has scored nine goals over his last two contests.
SALISBURY, N.C. - A late Pfeiffer (0-3) rally fell short as the Falcons dropped a 13-11 non-conference matchup at Catawba (2-2) on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons trailed 11-6 heading into the third period but cut the deficit to 12-11 with 4:29 to play before falling short.
MISENHEIMER, NC – The Pfeiffer University men’s lacrosse team (0-2) lost its home opener against Mars Hill, 13-10, Saturday afternoon at NE Leftko Field.
Freshman midfielder Cody Lamond led the Falcons with three goals (eight shots) and a game-high 11 ground balls, winning 18-of-26 face offs. Kyle Barna and Blade Garlow contributed two goals apiece, and Jared Nelson finished with a team-best three assists. Mike Moorehead played all 60 minutes in goal for Pfeiffer and tallied 20 saves.
GREENVILLE, Tenn. - The Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse team (0-1) dropped its 2017 season opener at Tusculum by a final score of 16-6 on Saturday afternoon at Pioneer Field. The Falcons held strong early but were outscored 13-2 in the second half.
MISENHEIMER, NC- Pfeiffer men’s lacrosse head coach Scott Nelson announced the Falcons 2017 schedule this afternoon. The season opens on Saturday, February 11 as Pfeiffer travels to Tusculum for a non-conference matchup. Four of the first five games will be on the road, including the conference opener at Belmont Abbey on March 4.
