GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Stenson Croom tallied a goal and an assist but the Pfeiffer men's soccer team (4-5) saw its three-game winning streak snapped in a 3-2 loss at Greensboro on Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the Falcons drop a game under .500 on the season, while Greensboro improves to 8-4.

Croom gave the Falcons an early advantage in the 17th minute as the senior netted his second goal of the season with the assist going to Jaime Henriquez. Unfortunately for the Falcons, Greensboro would answer with three straight goals to take the two-score lead. Jordy Briceno tied the game in the 34th minute and Ryan Mule broke the tie in the 49th minute. Carlos Barragan, who assisted on the Pride's first goal, scored an insurance goal in the 78th minute.

Barragan's goal would loom large in the 84th minute as Caz Dabrowski scored his first collegiate goal to cut the deficit to 3-2. However, time ran out on Pfeiffer's comeback attempt as the Falcons fell to 3-3 in road games on the season.

Tomas Correa fell to 4-4 in goal for the Falcons as the senior tallied six saves.

Greensboro held an 18-9 advantage in shots and a 5-2 lead in corner kicks on the day. Each team was issued a pair of yellow cards.

The Falcons look to get back in the win column when they return home next Thursday against Shaw. That match begins a three-game home stretch for the Falcons.
