Pfeiffer Improves to 10-0 on Their Home Court as They Defeat Meredith 82-70

Misenheimer, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer women's basketball team (15-3) kept their home undefeated streak alive on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Meredith (5-17) 82-70 to improve to 10-0 inside Merner Gymnasium. Junior guard Sydni Bickford led the Falcons with 21 points, including hitting 4 three pointers. Bickford has now scored 20 or more points in three of her last four games.

The game was tight throughout, as the Avenging Angels gave Pfeiffer all they could handle. Although Meredith never led in the game, they came to within 7 after the third quarter. The Falcons came out hot in the fourth, however, as Bickford led the way with 8 fourth quarter points. Brina Bentley and Grayson Harris also contributed 4 points each in the 22 point Pfeiffer fourth period.
