DANBURY, CONN. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2018 Division III Men's Lacrosse major award winners and All-ECAC selections this morning. Pfeiffer'sMolly O'Friel was selected to the Second Team All-ECAC.
It was a record-setting season for the senior from Chesapeake Beach, MD. O'Friel became the first player in program history to top 100 points in a single season as the midfielder finished with 113. Additionally, O'Friel set the record for most goals in a season (91) and most goals in a single game (12). On the year, Molly scored at least eight goals in a game on six different occasions and also set the program record for draw controls in a season (98).
O'Friel was twice named the ECAC Player of the Week and helped the Falcons to a 10-game winning streak and their first-ever trip to the ECAC Tournament. Pfeiffer finished 11-2 and its .846 winning percentage was the best in team history.
