This week, we continue a new weekly feature entitled "Falcon Friday" which is a light-hearted Q & A session with various student-athletes of our 21 athletic programs that will be released every Friday throughout the 2017-18 athletic season. The feature is designed to get you to learn more about the individuals that make up our great athletic program.
Senior cross country runner Brandon Boyd is this week's guest. Brandon is a senior who has been an All-Conference performer in his career. He took some time out of his busy schedule to answer a handful of questions for us.
What was your first job?
Badin Inn Golf Shop.
Who is the most famous person you met?
World Record Holder and Olympic Gold Medalist Ashton Eaton.
What is your favorite memory from running cross country at Pfeiffer?
The regional race last year in Montevallo, Alabama when I ran a huge 10k PR and was the top finisher on the team.
If you could have dinner with three famous people who would they be?
Buddha, Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When someone asks a question after class is over that keeps us in class.
What is the most embarrassing song you have on your phone?
Breaking Free from High School Musical.
When you aren't running cross country, where can you most likely be found?
Out Hiking or Fishing.

Olympic Gold Medalist Mathew Centrowitz Jr (who I also met)

Teleport, because I could travel the world in my free time.
