TIGERVILLE, S.C. - In a game that saw 29 hits between two teams, the Pfeiffer Falcons (19-20, 9-13 CC) came up on the short end as they fell 10-5 to the North Greenville Crusaders (32-12, 15-7 CC) on Friday afternoon in a late season Conference Carolinas match-up.

Falcons lead-off hitter Derek Perry led off the game with a double down the left field line. After Perry advanced to third, Tanner Mathis singled him in with a base hit to center field.

Nathaniel Maggio hit a two-run homer to left center as it gave the Crusaders the lead at the end of one.

The Falcons scored two as Xavier Rodriguez led off the sixth with a single and came around to score on a misplay by Crusader shortstop Frazier. Gantt also singled and came around to score on a Zach Scudder sacrifice fly.

North Greenville scored three more runs over the two innings to secure the victory.

Rodriguez and Gantt had three hits each and both added an RBI.
