Bryce Marsh Named USA South Baseball Rookie of the Year

Misenheimer, N.C. –  Pfeiffer University freshman baseball player Bryce Marsh was named the USA South Rookie of the Year the league has announced.

Marsh, a freshman designated hitter from Asheboro, N.C., becomes the first Falcon in the program's brief USA South history, to earn USA South Rookie of the Year in baseball.

He currently leads all conference rookies in the categories of batting average (.381), on-base percentage (.500), slugging percentage (.628), home runs (6) and walks (31).

Marsh has also scored 35 runs and drove in 32 RBI this spring. Against USA South opposition this season, Marsh was tied for the conference lead with five home runs.

For his efforts, Marsh collects First Team All-Conference accolades.

Finally, he was named USA South Rookie of the Week once during the regular season.
