GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Pfeiffer men's lacrosse team (3-3) dropped to .500 on the season with a tough 21-13 loss at the hands of Guilford (4-2) on Wednesday afternoon.
Four players scored at least three goals for the Quakers, led by four goals from Aswan Bland.
Guilford held a 44-21 advantage in ground balls and a 51-33 lead in shots.
The Falcons were lethal with the man advantage, scoring three times on five attempts. Pfeiffer also held Guilford scoreless in six man up chances.
Each team committed 16 turnovers in the game but Guilford won 25-of-36 faceoffs.
The Falcons look to get back on track this weekend when they travel to Piedmont on Saturday. Faceoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
