Rock Hill, SC – The Falcon track and field program had a record-setting weekend at the Adidas Winthrop Invitational on the campus of Winthrop University.

Freshman Nevin Foster turned in a superb two days in the 400m dash. In the final, Foster completed the 400m race in 49.55 which moved him up to a third-place finish and broke the previous school record by .02 seconds.
Jonathan Brindle continued to show significant improvements in the javelin throw. In only his second competition, Brindle improved by 4 meters from last week throwing 41.68m which broke the previous school record that had stood since 2015 and placed 13th overall.
Tevin Colson closed out the action Saturday, running a personal best and school record time of 56.52. Colson beat his previous school record by almost one-second. Colson's time landed him a 20th place finish.
