Pfeiffer Cross Country Runs at Greensboro Invitational
Greensboro, N.C. (Sept. 30, 2019) – The Pfeiffer University men's cross country team finshed second amongst Division III teams in the Greensboro Invitational at Hagan Stone Park in Greensboro, N.C.
Senior Curtis Freeman (Lexington, N.C.) paced the Falcons, finishing a team-best 30:32.9 on the 8K course. Teammate Michael Eudy (Stanfield, N.C.) managed a 31:27.7 to claim 31st while Jackson Hanrahan (Charlotte, N.C.) had a 34:11.2 to finish in 52nd.
As a team, Pfeiffer finished second among NCAA Division III teams participating in the event, posting 51 points behind Lynchburg, who claimed the DIII title with 19 points.
The Falcons will return to run on Saturday, Oct. 11 when they travel to nearby Salisbury, N.C. to race in the Livingstone Invitational.
