    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- Standout senior Molly O'Friel was selected to play in the IWLCA Division III Senior All-Star game as announced by the organization this afternoon. The game will take place on June 2 at 2:30 p.m. on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. Admission to the game is free and will be streamed on IWLCA-tv.com.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. – On Senior Day in the Village, the Pfeiffer women’s lacrosse (11-1) team wrapped up its 2018 regular season with a 19-3 victory over Averett (9-7) on Saturday afternoon. On a rainy afternoon, the Falcons celebrated the careers and contributions of Kylie Lode, Emily James, Kirsten Martin, Nicole Cote, Paige Bonds, Josie Lent and Molly O’Friel prior to the start of the game.

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – It was another record-breaking afternoon for senior Molly O’Friel who led Pfeiffer (10-1) to their ninth straight win in a 19-7 victory over Methodist (5-7) on Tuesday afternoon. O’Friel shattered her own record for most goals in a game as the senior found the back of the net 12 times to send the Falcons to their 10th win of the year.

    Misenheimer, NC - The Pfeiffer women's lacrosse team (8-1) put on a dominating display against Ferrum College (3-6) on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the Panthers 18-4. The Falcons were led by Molly O'Friel and Meagan Bourque. O'Friel had six goals on the afternoon and Bourque tallied four goals.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. – After tying the record earlier in the season, Molly O’Friel broke the program mark for most goals in a game as the senior poured in 10 in a 24-3 Pfeiffer (7-1) victory over Salem (1-9) on Wednesday night. The win is Pfeiffer’s sixth straight victory.

    LAGRANGE, GA. -- LaGrange had no answer for Molly O'Friel as the Falcons (6-1) ran past the Panthers (3-5) on Sunday afternoon. O'Friel finished the game with eight goals and five assists for 13 points, which tied the third most points in a single game in program history and is a career high for the senior.

    Montgomery, AL -- It was a dominating performance for the Pfeiffer women’s lacrosse team on Saturday as they defeated Huntingdon 20-1. The 20 point outburst is the highest of the season, beating their 19 point performance in their first game of the season against Greensboro.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. – Molly O’Friel scored eight times to lead the Pfeiffer women’s lacrosse team (4-1) to a 12-11 victory over Guilford (2-3) on Wednesday afternoon. O’Friel was one goal shy of tying her own record for most goals in a game but had to settle for eight. The senior added an assist for a nine-point afternoon.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. — The Pfeiffer women’s lacrosse team (3-1) pulled away late in a 14-7 victory over Brevard (1-5) on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons scored eight of the game’s final nine goals to defeat the Tornados.
  • O'Friel Ties Team Record With 9 Goals in Victory Over Piedmont

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Pfeiffer women's lacrosse team (2-1) handed Piedmont (3-1) its first defeat of the year thanks to an incredible performance from senior Molly O'Friel. O'Friel tied the program record with nine goals and needed just 10 shots to achieve that feat. O'Friel added nine ground balls, six caused turnovers and five draw controls in the dominating performance. 
  • Women's Lacrosse Falters in Home Opener

    Misenheimer, NC - Pfeiffer fell to Meredith College 17-5 this afternoon. The Angels came out strong taking a 7-0 lead going into halftime. Turnovers plagued the team throughout the game and placed a lot of pressure on Junior Goal Keeper Sam Hanlon and the Falcon defense. Hanlon was able to post several great saves throughout the afternoon and 10 of her 13 saves took place in the first half as Meredith placed 25 shots on goal. 
  • Bourque Explodes for Eight Goals as Women's Lacrosse Begins DIII Era in Dominating Fashion

    GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Meagan Bourque exploded for a career-high eight goals as the Pfeiffer women's lacrosse team (1-0) began the DIII era with a dominating 19-6 victory at Greensboro (0-2) on Saturday afternoon. Bourque's previous high of five goals was topped when the sophomore scored six times in the first period, including three consecutive goals in a 3-minute span.
