DANBURY, CONN. -- For the second consecutive week, senior Molly O'Friel has been named the ECAC South Offensive Player of the Week the league announced this afternoon.
O'Friel broke the single-game scoring record in Pfeiffer's win over Salem College as the senior tallied 10 goals and added a pair of assists. For the week, O'Friel netted 16 goals in a pair of Pfeiffer wins and added three assists, nine ground balls, 19 draw controls and seven caused turnovers. Additionally, 16 of her 18 shots on goal found the back of the net.
O'Friel and the Falcons are 8-1 on the season and have won seven in a row. They return to action on Saturday when they travel to N.C. Wesleyan.
