GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Pfeiffer women's soccer team (1-0) claimed the first win in Division III history as the Falcons throttled Brooklyn College (0-1) by a final score of 11-0 on Saturday afternoon. The 11 goals score by Pfeiffer was the most in a game since Pfeiffer scored 13 against Chowan on Oct. 9, 2013.

In her collegiate debut, freshman Cayci Eaton scored four times on four shots. Six different players scored at least once in the one-sided affair and goalkeeper Kaley Hyatt recorded her sixth career shutout.

The Falcons wasted little time, opening the scoring barrage 37 seconds into the contest as Eaton took a through ball from Gabby Bosak and found the back of the net for her first career tally. Just 22 seconds later, Eaton and Bosak connected for another strike to give the Falcons a quick 2-0 advantage.

Eaton completed the hat trick in the 15th minute on a breakaway from midfield that gave Pfeiffer a dominating 8-0 lead. Pfeiffer would go on to score nine times in the first 18:22 of the match.

Krystal Jaimes had a goal and one assist on the day and Bosak finished the match with one goal and three assists. Maddie Capel, Taylor Donnally and Aranza Gallegos all netted their first career goals for Pfeiffer in the victory.

Hyatt earned her 12th career victory.

Pfeiffer held a 25-3 advantage in shots and a 17-3 edge in shots on goal. Pfeiffer's nine assists on the day fell one short of tying the program record of 10 which has stood since 2008.

Up next for the Falcons is their home opener scheduled for noon on Monday as they host Emory at N.E Lefko Field.
